Why Oceans Incarnadine?
The quote that inspired the site's name is taken from a scene in Shakespeare's play MacBeth.
As he tries to wash the blood from his hands after he has murdered the king, Duncan. He fears that the
blood will never wash from his hands and instead it would turn all the oceans to red.
The name came from a character journal name Cai Incarnadine, which belongs to my character Caitirin.
She had been an assassin for more than a hundred years, and is left now contemplating her fate and what
comes of a life spent in blood. Cai is also the Chinese reading for the Japanese character which means
ocean. Cai Incarnadine, by that interpretation means roughly, Oceans Incarnadine.
