I am the oldest of three children; I have two brothers, I was an Air Force kid for my entire childhood. My mother weaves beautiful baskets and works with special ed children.

I have lived in three countries and seven U.S. states at various times in the course of growing up.

I have a BA in ancient and middle eastern history, and I recently finished my MLIS (Masters in Library Science). I work in a college science branch library.

I am married to my beautiful wife and our two crazy cats. I’m an active supporter of equal marriage rights. I’m very much opposed to merging religion with politics and I suppose many of my beliefs place me rather left of the middle, politically speaking. I’m pro-choice and I believe that all women should have access to contraceptives and all other things which ensure reproductive rights, keeps your laws off my body. I am a member of the ALA.
